“Stillness in the Midst” is a collaborative work created by the artist and her daughter during a period of emotional turbulence and transformation. Her daughter, aged 15 at the time, painted the expressive red foreground, a raw outpouring of teenage intensity, while JoliArtist painted the serene figure emerging beneath it, her calm gaze layered through the chaos like a quiet anchor.

The contrast between the explosive reds above and the composed blue tones below reflects the tension between youthful fury and maternal understanding, capturing two emotional worlds learning to coexist within a single canvas.
